![]() If I remember correctly most of the host sites change the algorithm to a MPEG, Quicktime or Flash codec with a streaming flavor.I had zero luck getting Windows movie maker files to upload with anything that resembled quality. Maybe now i finally gonna make the videos of some of my riding areas ?, remember we talked about it long long ago ?ĭo you think divx looks significantly better than wmv or whatever Movie Maker 2 puts out - on youtube?ĭIVX is a MPEG algorithm and WMV is it's own flavor. Sadly the log companies cut a lot of trees on some areas in last weeks and a land owner put a fence to avoid we go there where i reached very high speeds in sandy terrain.but someone already destroyed the fence in a place.now only needs that a good soul destroys it in 2 or 3 more points not that i really miss much that small zone.my main riding area is a kind of a maze that i never ride it all, far from that. However, right now i'm "bikeless" and only expect to ride with my new bike by the end of this year or right in the begin of Jan'07. I followed your link and it seems that you can also use DivX for free with some limitations.i gonna try it to see if i like better the quality. The advantage to compress is upload time, i also uploaded the uncompressed AVI file and it took a lot of time ! YouTube did the autocompression and accepted the audio in the file.i managed to tune AudioDub to get almost same video quality in the final result at YouTube. Go to to get the Xvid codec clicking the 'get the latest.' on left top of page.download the codec.then, go to links section and follow links to AutoGK or VirtualDub (which is installed mnually by user).1st i used AutoGK but it didn't recognized the audio format made by my camera in the AVI file.so i used VirtualDub and it also didn't recogined it.but there was an audio option for 'direct stream copy' and finally i managed to do it !!!ĭon't forget to select the video codec in virtualdub and its preferences (compression, etc.) ![]() Only filmed my own face (Charles Manson looks and shake the camera 320x240 15fps on purpose to test the limits of compression software (camera goes up to 30fps and 640x480 (also supports 160x120), it cames with helmet and handlebar supports and SD connector up to 2GB, which i also bought). I just found the freeware tools and made some tests.no, i didn't use it for riding.yet
